Not unhappy with location just staff and amenities

The design of the suite was excellent especially the design of the second bathroom to accommodate the people using the fold out couch. The furnishings and the supplies in the kitchen were excellent. And I was glad that they made an allowance for recycling. We were disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for renovations. I understand that need to do the renovations in the summer season because there is still an outdoor pool to use. I was disappointed that they did not relay this information at the time we booked. We definitely would have looked at another hotel. We arrived at 4:00 p.m. hoping to get into our room, but had to wait over an hour before the room was available. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If we came back to this area, we would consider staying here again, but will definitely check about the indoor pool.

The room was very dirty and unsanitary. The towels and bedding had visible stains on them, and the bathroom was gross. The first room we were given was actually worse, which is why we ended up asking to be moved. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly when we first checked in. However, when we called to let him know about the issues with the first room, he told us there were no other rooms available and said he could come down to look at the room. When he came to the room and we showed him the stains on the sheets and how dirty the bathroom and shower were, his attitude completely changed and he was rude. He told us the shower was dirty because it was a handicap-accessible room, which did not make sense or excuse the lack of cleanliness. He then told us to come to the front desk, where he ended up giving us a different room despite originally saying there were no other rooms available. Unfortunately, the second room still had stained towels and bedding. Overall, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms and how the situation was handled.
